[Travelogue] Phuket 18 - 22 October 2013 (Day 1)

This trip was planned and confirmed in August. Jetstar was having a promo of 1-for-1 so we decided to clinch the deal and go for the trip.

Day 1

Lunch with boyfriend at Aston, Terminal 1 and after that we proceeded to check-in. Irving arrived from Hong Kong and 'hopped' onto the same flight with us. Terence was supposed to be on this trip with us but due to unforeseen circumstances, he couldn't make it to the airport on time. :(

We stayed in Poppa Palace Hotel, booked by Huiru, which we felt that it was quite convenient. The hotel you can choose one room or two connecting rooms.

Shall let the pictures do the talking:

On board Jetstar plane!

Damn shiok to have coca cola! Edmund's treat.

Us in the Taxi to our Hotel. Irvng sitting in front
We checked in quite late, around 7pm.

Dinner was settled at MK Gold Restaurant in  Jungcelon Shopping Mall. MK Restaurant is quite popular in Thailand. It's like a ala carte steamboat meal in the restaurant.

Roasted Duck and Char Siew, which is one of the more popular dishes

Shabu Shabu
After that, we had craving for ice cream. There's just one Ice Cream shop right outside MK Restaurant.
Ordered my standard favourite, Rocky Road,

We spent the remaining night hunting for SIM card for Huiru and me due to incompatible SIM cards we got at airport. We also recce around the area for next day's meals and massage! Though there was one massage palour just right outside our hotel, we still look for options, just in case...

We bought fruits to snack in our room.
That sums up for day 1
