I shall see what have i done.
The whole of September, been meeting different groups of ex-colleagues at different time and catching up with each others' lives. Our termly meet-ups for lorong as usual. Thasneem's cooking is always so so great that you will leave with thinking of all the yummy sinful good food you have eaten before you sleep. We had been messing up her place for the past few rounds. Meeting up with them which also means looking at how much the kids (Asminah and Elijah) have grown.

Went Pulau Ubin for recreation, organised by Sengkang CC on 22 September. It was an advanturous trip and eye opening experience as we get to visit a real resident's place at Ubin. Thanks to Jo, who has a friend's mum still staying there and she got permission from her for us to visit her place. We had a hard time looking for the place too. We had a fun time trekking around Ubin, stopping at different quarry to take photos. So sad that many quarry was blocked by barricades Thanks to Seow Yen for asking me along!
Some wonderful stuff that's happening at her place are:
1) The bulls will gather at her place at 7pm for food. They won't attack her but if there are strangers around, the bulls will not appear.
2) There's a house made by ang moh for her to feed hornbills on top of a tree.
3) There's a well to get water to bath, cook, wash.
4) During her free time, she took leaves to make many sticks of grasshoppers. Jo told us that her crafts are very good. She learned it by observing.
5) Most of their sources of food (mainly vegetables) are harvest from their own "plantation".
Not too sure if i can upload photos of the Kampung here but i shall respect the privacy of the resident.
Lunch at one of the Ubin Seafood restaurant. Food was so-so only.
After lunch, we also visited the other side of Ubin (walking towards the Police Station and walk further in), there is lot's of different kind of plants in the garden too.

Almost the end of September, there are quite a number of family gathering.
17 September, we gathered at grandmother's place as my grandmother's brother from China was here for a visit.

| Yijun was there too! Huiru and me had lots of fun with him. He's a durian addict. |
My nephew's full month on 21 September.

| He slept the entire day but woke up at night to play with us! |
23 September spending my whole afternoon at MBS. Seet came over to find me too and play with Kaijun.
We had dinner at Imperial Treasure at MBS to host our relative from China but the food was disappointing. This was the third time i ate there. Honestly, food standard really dropped a lot. The black chicken soup we drank was so salty that we asked for a change. The waitress gave us a new pot of soup but it was still super salty. We do not want to trouble them further so we just drink it. The whole pot of soup cost $100. It seems more like drinking $100 of salty water.
Another gathering at grandmother's place on 27 September for dinner as it was our relative last night in Singapore. Gathering means nephews and niece will be there. Xuanting knows how to take selfie! I loaded the photo on my IG but couldn't load the picture with the link here. She's been very cheeky and adorable.
